Cero defectos revisado

Hoy encontré en el sitio MindTools un interesante artículo llamado Zero Defects, que describe eficazmente el concepto. A mi entender resulta eficaz porque muestra los dos lados: el bueno y el peligroso.

El lado bueno: 

Zero defects is a way of thinking and doing that reinforces the notion that defects are not acceptable, and that everyone should "do things right the first time".

El lado peligroso:

However, if you fanatically follow a zero defects approach in areas which don't need it, you'll most likely be wasting resources. One of the most important of these resources is time, and this is where people are accused of time-destroying "perfectionism."

Desde hace tiempo sabemos que la no-calidad cuesta pero también sabemos que invertir en calidad es una decisión económica y que llega un punto en el que invertir más en mejorar no reditúa.
