Hoy encontré un par de artículos sobre cultura organizacional que me parecieron interesantes. Dejo los links y remarco algunos pasajes.
En Why culture is more important than strategy se remarcan dos aspectos fundamentales. El primero es que es difícil de copiar:
"The most important thing about culture is that it's the only sustainable point of difference for any organisation. Anyone can copy your strategy, but nobody can copy your culture. So why would you leave it untended?"
El segundo es que contagia y crece más allá de los individuos:
"The best businesses are the ones that have a culture that has grown to be bigger and stronger than any one individual. If your culture is strong then it gains power through inspiring your people to conform to it. It becomes the thing that links everyone together, no matter what department they're in. If your people become engaged with the company, the strategy is more likely to be 'owned' by all and focused upon."
En Learn the Art of Culture Hacking se muestran algunos números que marcan la importancia que tiene la cultura de cara al futuro:
"If you ask a group of CIOs what the biggest barrier to change is in their organization, the most common response is almost always culture. In Gartner’s 2018 CIO Survey, 46% of respondents named culture as the biggest barrier to scaling digital transformation. This answer isn’t surprising, but it’s also not very useful. Culture is big, unwieldy and hard to change."
